i was wondering
does anbody have working amd pbs settings?
when i set unused gpp clocks off to enabled, nothing happens
when i set clkreq to enabled, pc wont boot, it freezes after BDS (no error code), when i press reset button, i get F9 error and pc shuts down, then it starts up, but thats all it does...
anything voltage related has no effect whatsoever

whats the point then?

I just wanted to give a heads up. Even though the Newer Windows 10 is om with IOMUU enabled the WinPE of Macrium Reflect is not. With it enabled the emergency recovery media will not boot up and just hangs.

Thanks, TANWare.  More information is needed.  What does "Windows 10 is om" mean?  What version(s) of W10 are you talking about?  What is "Macrium Reflect"?  What version(s) of WinPE are you talking about?  Enjoy, John.

ddasilva, with the information posted, it is almost impossible to speculate.  Please post all your specifications in you signature as I have.  There is a UEFI/BIOS setting enabling HD.  I think it is in the Advanced section of the UEFI.  Boot into UEFI and see if you can find it.  Even if not, please hit F9 and F10 and let us know if that helped.  I will look in my UEFI later and post a screenshot later.  Enjoy, John.

Spoke a bit too soon.....data disk,  Seagate Firecuda 1TB is  appearing in BIOS, looks OK there, but not seen in windows............spinning.......... I swapped SATA ports and cable, no change...........Does it  need mounting again? not sure what is going on... Drive is only a month or 2 old and was running fine.......
Also swapped it for a known good Toshiba 2.5" HDD but same thing with that, spinning shows in BIOS but not windows

Thanks so much for the help. I really appreciate it, and I'll let you know how this turns out.

sounds like the best plan

if you could update this thread with the final result it would be a great help

Ram is running at 2800.  I just bought an extra set of the ram modules to test with to make sure it wasn't a bad set.
Settings are:
Freq: 1396.7Mhz
FSB:DRAM: 4:42
CAS: 16
tRCD: 18
tRP: 18
tRAS: 38
tRC: 56
CF: 1T
I'm not trying to OC nor am I interested in it.  Just want it to be stable.  Last crash was a hard crash and didn't BSOD so I don't have a memory dump.  Always happens when the computer is idle.

Thanks for your response John.   I see onboard audio enabled and the setting is HD (not AC97).
System stats below:

ASRock AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac
AMD Ryzen 1500x
1TB SATA HD
EVGA 710 Video card (1TB)
450W PS
BIOS 3.60
2x 4GB DDR2400 RAM

I also land on a d2 error code.  Normally 64GB Corsair RAM, but I removed two of four DIMMs for debugging purposes.  Rest of parts... Gigabyte GTX 1070, Seasonic 1250W Platinum, LSI 9267 RAID controller, Qty(2) 8TB Western Digital Caviar Black (plus a pair of Nvidia V100, but I removed those for debugging purposes too).  Anyone have insight into the meaning of this error code?

Thanksddasilva, that's is what I was talking about.  Did you try both settings a do an F9 plus F10?  450 Watt power supply is somewhat low but should be OK.  If still no joy, I suggest you contact ASRock support concerning an RMA.  Thanks and enjoy, John.

mike_schuler, I had a similar problem on my X370 which required an RMA to correct two bad memory slots.  Did not happen under load, usually idle, and never gave an BSOD.  I narrowed it down by testing with two sticks at a time.  Perhaps you could try four sticks at a time.  Tough bug.  Wish you the best.  Enjoy, John.

Enabled. BUT is it set as Default?

IIRC, you want AC97 Enable as Default for 3.5mm headphones.

You saying HDMI means it, Default, is currently the graphics cards audio, not the MB's. ie: "The HDMI audio ports are the only playback devices."

This a Windows Audio Control Panel option. Playback Devices tab IIRC is what you're looking for.

Thanks MisterJ.  It works fine for the most part if I take it down to two ram modules from the 8 ram modules I have now. This would be the second board I've RMA'd for the same problem.  So either I got the same board back or the second board with the same issue.  Either way it puts me out of a computer for a month while the issue gets resolved.  I'll have to consider that again. :-(

mike try 4 sticks and set them down to 2133 just to check

8 sticks double sided at higher speeds is quite a task for the cpu's memory controller
