Hello,

System was working ok with win10 and last week started crashing with BSOD mem management and page fault stop codes.

PC is at my work, yesterday the screen was flashing when booted to desktop, tried windows repair but would only crash. Tried to go into safe mode and got black screen with cursor.

System was on 4.x bios and decided to update to 6.00 and then noticed the writing about not using 6.00 with raven, I tried to downgrade to 5.5 and it wont take in instant flash, it sees the file on the usb but when try to load it says invalid file.

I would like to downgrade and then load windows and then update graphics drivers, but when I try and load win10 from the usb, it gets past the copying files portion and then when install starts it always crashes with blue screen.

Things I did in the past, ran mem diag tests and all passed, tried switching the ram (gskill2400 8gb) to B2, same issue.

I am out of ideas, can anyone help please?

Hey folks,

First of all I apologize if this has been asked before. At work, in a slight rush and a quick search didn't return anything. Ok on to it now.

I have the following storage device:
Lexar NM600 PCIe M.2 480GB Solid State Drive (SSD) LNM600-480RBNA

I also have a traditional SSD installed in the SATA 3_1 port (shown in photo attached) This was only installed as the 450GB NVMe SSD I have does not seem to show up in the BIOS or Windows.

[/IMG]

So what am I doing wrong here? Is there some sort of special setting that needs to be configured in order for the system to recognize this drive. I really don't want to traditional SSD in this machine and the only reason it is, is because of this issue with not recognizing the drive.

I have tried it in both the M2_1 and M2_2 slots with nothing showing up.

Remember/notice your personal bios settings (if you have any) and make a CMOS reset.
If that does not help... Yes, there are some more user with this problem. Look around in this board.
What CPU do you use and which bios version?

What? 1.30 has instant flash update.

If you do not have a Matisse/3000 CPU, you should not update!

And if you just want to know how to proceed:

Before you download or update the BIOS, please read "(How to Update)" below carefully.

on asrock site FAQ : Q: How can I update BIOS by ASRock Instant Flash on AM4 platform? (2017/3/1) A. Since AMD AM4 is a new structure and we just found BIOS cannot be completely updated by our Instant Flash. Thus, for the old BIOS version released before 2017/03/07, there is no "Instant Flash??option under BIOS. To make sure BIOS update can be executed completely, please use DOS or Windows BIOS update methods to do update temporarily.
After updating to the following version, Instant Flash functions and options are supported under BIOS and it can be used for updating the newer BIOS file in the future.
So my question is where should i get this 1.40

Ah, this old stuff for the rev 1 board, which is removed from the mobo page.
You need the DOS or windows flasher.
Contact Asrock support for the flash tool and bios files.

I got a second 2x8 kit of the same model, HyperX Predator 3200mhz, for my Asrock X470 Master board but the XMP profile won't load anymore. This kit was from the boards QVL and the first 2x8 kit I have loads fine but when adding another 2x9 it's not working. Stays stuck at 2400mhz. Is there a way to fix this so all sticks run at 3200mhz? Do I need to manually raise the voltages?

There is a sticky thread here in the board, but the links are dead:

As the QVL says, 3200mhz is only valid for 2 sticks in dual channel.
Maybe DRAM voltage 1.36...1.37V can help.

And you can try to fix it by reaching this frequency or one, two steps down by choosing the required settings for the DRAM timings, sub timings, voltages and the other things.
To get familiar with Ryzen DRAM settings, use the DRAM Calculator with it's articles, howto's and the results from other user.

I build this PC almost 2 years ago and it has worked like a champ until 2 days ago.

ASRock X370 Taichi
Ryzen 5 1600
2x8gb GSkill Trident Ram

MSI 1060 Nvidia GPU

Corsair HX1000 PSU

Everything has worked perfectly even when I wrapped up some work Sunday evening this week. Woke up Monday morning and when I went to wake the computer up the LED readout on the motherboard gave me the following code I have been unable to find a good answer for

De Ad b3 80 03 14

I am looking for a little help to figure out how many things might need replaced.

If I reset the CMOS and reboot the system it did recover and worked the following day. However the next time I slept it and came back it provided the same error code and required resetting the CMOS again to boot.

Jeez, I hope they support at least one previous generation of motherboards with Threadripper. x399 cost enough money.

Problem:
No Monitor Signal when Using XFX Radeon RX 570 RS XXX Edition video card.

System Info:
ASRock X570 Pro4
Ryzen 5 3400G - Radeon RX Vega 11
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB | 16 GB 3200 MHz
XFX Radeon RX 570 RS XXX Edition 1286MHz, 8gb GDDR5
UEFI BIOS Version 1.70

I've had troubles getting the Onboard Graphics Card to work. My old NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 TI works just fine with it. I am connecting it to my monitor with an HDMI cable.

So I purchased a new video card (XFX Radeon RX 570 RS XXX Edition 1286MHz, 8gb GDDR5) for use with it. I purchased a new video card to use, since I want to keep my GeForce card with my old computer.

I've put the new video card in the system and the monitor gets no signal. I've verified it is seated correctly. I've got the 8 pin power connect attached to the video card. The blue light on the video card goes on. The fans spin for a second and then turn off (apparently they only go on if it is hot).

One of the pages suggested using the other PCIE slot on my motherboard. I tried that and it has the same affect.

Some research suggested disabling the Integrated Graphics Card. But I can't find that in the BIOS. I found some videos that suggested going into Advanced > AMD CBS > NBIO Common Options and disabling it there. However, the GFX option isn't in this version of the BIOS.

I've read the manual a few times and I can't find anything about this problem. I read the FAQ and it had a few suggestions for the issue, but none of them helped.

I'm not sure what else to try. Any suggestions?

I know. What is worrying me is the cost of x570 motherboards with PCIE4 and what that means for new Threadripper motherboards with PCIE4 . . . probably have to sell a few organs to get one. Technically the existing motherboards have covered 1st and 2nd gen Threadripper but I was hopeful we'd have 3rd gen covered as well.

So glad I got an X470 Taichi Ultimate

I get being a little behind others but this is nuts, We got the Destiny 2 BIOS update THREE weeks after the regular Taichi got it, how long do we need to wait for this one?

The board has been stable and my overall experience on a hardware level has been good but the support leaves alot to be desired especially considering this is the flagship X470 product.
