motherboard B450 Pro4 Restore on AC/Power loss not working, when i select "Always on".

If I unplug the power supply, the PC will not turn on. Although this item is set correctly. Firmware: 3.60 (currently the latest version). I did not reflash myself. Already
wrote in support. They do not answer. This feature is very important to me.

Wow, this forum is dead.

I guess the answer is just update to version 2.0 and don't worry about it.

When you set the voltage in BIOS, start monitoring in Windows and you will be surprised at the difference in voltage (set and actual). That's where stability comes from on different versions of BIOS. On BIOS 3.75 overestimates by almost 0.3 volts

I agree, a PC should work even if no power is supplied...

Sorry, i'm joking.
You obviously forgot to write that you plug in the PSU after that.

First:
If you are using Windows 10, you should uncheck the "Turn on fast startup":
Step 1. Open the Power Option item in control panel.
Step 2. Click the Choose what the power button do link.
Step 3. Click Change settings that are currently unavailable.
Step 4. Clear the Turn on fast startup (recommend) check box.
Step 5. Click Save changes.
That was the solution for a user in another forum.

Second:
I do not use "Restore on AC/Power loss", but in my bios a second item is available, maybe you should check that:
Advanced\AMD CBS\FCH Common Options\AC Power loss Options
Ac Loss Control

And here is a thread for another board with that problem:

Reinstalled drivers and all is well. GPU working in top slot now. The only down sides to the MB are the USBc header placement and SB fan noise. It is the loudes noise at idle. I have it turned way down also. While gaming the video card fans drown out the SB fan but they are not as annoying. Something about the pitch of the SB fan bothers me but does not bother my wife much at all. Overall a very nice board that needs the USB C header moved slightly to be great.

Because of your questions in other threads:
You also have to add RAM and a graphics card.

The bad placement of the chipset/fan (under(!) a longer graphics card) is common for a lot of X570 boards.
The bad position for the USB header on X570 Phantom Gaming X or Taichi.
Another thing is the "heatsink" plate covering all M2 drives.
3 reasons for me to choose something different...
But a perfect board is not available on the market.

I would like a X570 Taichi 2.0 eliminating the said things, without onboard LED stuff and a chipset/fan construction which can be easy exchanged by a watercooling block...

The P1.60 BIOS update from 15Nov fixed it...gotta day I made the decision to invest in this mb due not only to the impressive specs and future-proof feature set, but also the reviews I saw for excellent Asrock customer service. That has not been my experience - after replying to my service notice within 24 hours to ask if I'd installed the drivers (seriously?) and my confirmation I had done so - I got no additional response...not to three follow-up replies over the course of the week...and I had to find out on my own there was a non-beta BIOS revision on the support site.

Yes, you do. The on board video ports can only be used with an APU, not a CPU.

No matter what I try I just get a black screen with a single dash on it.
Board boots into Windows fine, the flashing tool (F6 works fine), updating the bios was the first thing I tried.

Other things I have tried

Single stick of ram

Different ram

Unplug everything bar the keyboard and monitor, CPU, single stick of ram and VGA

Asrocks Reboot to UEFI tool

Clear CMOS

Any ideas? running at 2133MHz ram is less than ideal....

What CPU? RAM? Graphics card?
How could you install windows?
Any code on the debug display?
Did you try another video output from the graphics card?

rana_kirti, I couldn't see anything.

It was my mistake I didn't notice the item on amazon was a CPU not an APU (CPU with GPU capabilities). So I need to wait until tomorrow, buy a GPU and then test it.

Just a quick report in on the new 1.60 BIOS with the AQUA motherboard.

New BIOS: 1.60 released on 2019/11/15 (AMD AGESA Combo-AM4 1.0.0.4 Patch B).
Original BIOS: 1.41

Flashed my ASRock X570 AQUA with 1.60 BIOS yesterday and:
1. Benchmarks are a few % better.
a. Cinebench R20 score went up from 7204 to 7220.
2. CPU temperature is 5-7c cooler under load and at idle.
3. CPU clock was rarely hitting 4.2GHz before the update, now I see 4.5GHz often.
4. Memory latency has not improved, but I was not expecting it to.
5. Boot time has greatly improve. I have not timed it, but it's very noticeable.

With 1.60 BIOS:
UserBenchmarks: Game 116%, Desk 169%, Work 159%
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X - 100.1%
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070 - 110.4%
SSD: Nvme Samsung SSD 970 2TB - 403.9%
SSD: Edge NextGen SSD 2TB - 312.7%
RAM: G.SKILL F4 DDR4 3600 C16 4x16GB - 126.2%
MBD: Asrock X570 AQUA

With the 1.41 BIOS:
UserBenchmarks: Game 113%, Desk 155%, Work 153%
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X - 95.4%
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070 - 109.5%
SSD: Nvme Samsung SSD 970 2TB - 375.7%
RAM: G.SKILL F4 DDR4 3600 C16 4x16GB - 124.6%
MBD: Asrock X570 AQUA

I have updated my AB350 Pro4 to bios 6.25, and so far it seems good. I only have my R3 1200 OC'ed to 4GHz, but I haven't OC'ed my RAM. Is it possible to OC RAM with two different memory modules (1st dimm is 8GB Samsung memory, and 2nd is 4GB Kingston)? Also, I'm planning on getting a zen+ or zen2 CPU, not atm, but eventually. So far with Ryzen 3 1200 it's all working great with these new bioses.

I've been testing as well and 3.75 on my Taichi A is been hreat. I have been able to tighten my memory timings and I use Gskill 3200 running @ 3600 14 15 15 14 28 and passed ever test I've thrown at it. Seems like it shouldn't be long for a final release. They can still tweak some naming in the BIOS.
Go stuff

With all the hype lately on new Ryzen cpu's there's been more than one BIOS posted and then removed from the official page for x570 motherboards, specifically mine the Phantom Gaming 4.

I have versions saved on my pc that are not listed to download anymore, but they worked great when I ran them. Now I tried the 2.0 released last week and it seems to give worse performance.

The official page for my board doesn't show any update notes, nor does the file download. is there anywhere online that shows the details?
