Ryzen 2600 does not have an APU. You need a discrete video card to boot up the PC.

Gonna play some more and see if I get anywhere. I did notice that my ram is running at 1t @ 3600 but Im pretty sure g skill rates it at 2t for those timings/speed. Gonna mess with that a little bit and see what happens.

I know it's been a while since you posted this, but could you provide an update on how things went with these memory sticks?

I consider purchasing this particular kit for my ASRock X370 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming, so I would like to know how things have gone with other ASRock boards prior to that.

In advance, thank you!

try the following: restart your computer, let it sit for a minute or two and lock it and walk away until it goes to sleep mode. come back and wake the pc up from sleep mode and see if the stutter issue occurs while jsut normally browsing the web or on desktop. if you're having this issue, it means im not the only one. the fix i've found is to disable sleep mode/any power saving mode. or if you don't wanna do that, just restart your computer and it should fix the stutter issue. we'll that's atleast what im having. what your describing seems very similar to mine, though i haven't installed linux on my pc yet, so can't troubleshoot the problem there. hopefully this weekend i'll get around to throwing arch on there and see if the problem is there as well. if that's the issue, then i guess it's something to do with bios power saving cpu states

Search for my username on overclock.net. I posted my final solution there, got the sticks up pretty high, but not capacity. Motherboard is the limiting factor.

also while briefly researching this for my issue, i came across someone creating a task manager like application for them self because they had the same issue, and what they discovered was their intel ethernet card was taking 100% of the cpu for that time (250 ms to 1s) and then going back down to normal. it wouldn't show up on task manager but the app they quickly wrote up was logging the intel ethernet card as the culprit. hopefully that helps you out

AMD Motherboards : x470 taichi Polychrome is weirdly not working

Subject: x470 taichi Polychrome is weirdly not working

So initially my boards RGB software control on polychrome was fine for a bit when I used it after a few days then problems came up. The RGB color were stuck and unchangeable despite them being addressable. I currently have a tforce delta rgb SSD 5v hooked up to it. I then tried to fix it by turning all the RGB off and it did. But the problem was turning it on. Everytime I try to turn it off or do anything at all, all my motherboard rgb flickers with a white color on and off rapidly and no change happens. This happened throughout trying to do anything at all related to trying to get my rgb to work using the polychrome software.

Now weird parts im not familiar with. These following errors popped up when trying to change any colors in the rgb software:

* list index out of bounds (238)
* exception access violation at address 005b58d3
* exiting the program would give me : abnormal termination detected

I then proceeded to look for solutions online. Here's what I've done

* CMOS reset - does nothing
* Unistall and reinstall polychrome software - does nothing
* Flahed the RGb software using the wlCPFLashADSB bit 1.10 and 2.06 ver

I then proceeded to do another solution by flashing the rgb software and at first, it didn't work at all! Nothing happened then tried again and this came up:

wICPFLASH v1.0.20 - ASRock Incorporation, all rights reserved
Project Name = X470 taichi
BIOS Version = 1.50
Reading file: nu51_1.10...0...ok.
Enter ICP mode.
Company ID: 0x000000DA, Device ID: 0x00210050
Erasing:     EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Programming: PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
Verifying:   VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
CMD_RPD_HIGH_LOW data not match
"**FAIL**"

So that didn't work and then I tried the other flash in the bin

wICPFLASH v1.0.20 - ASRock Incorporation, all rights reserved
Project Name = X470 taichi
BIOS Version = 1.50
Reading file: nu51_2.06...0...ok.
Enter ICP mode.
Company ID: 0x000000DA, Device ID: 0x00210050
Erasing:     EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Programming: PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
Verifying:   VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
Exit ICP mode.
Program done.

and it worked! Lights turned on but there's a problem. They were addressable but they were out of order

* Changing IO cover rgb section = it would change the audio rgb section instead
* Changing PCH heatsink rgb section = it would change the IO cover section
* Changing audio rgb section = it would change the half side of the addressable rgb on the delta SSD
* Changing addressable rgb on the delta SSD rgb section = it would change the other HALF of the SSDs addressable rgb
* The PCH heatsink RGB = unaddressable at all. No parts of it can be modified.

Also noting when trying to flash the nu51_1.10 file, it has no affectation as if it was useless even when run again it doesn't say fail anymore.

Help please? :(

TL;DR - RGB software worked properly abit then didn't. Transitioned to possibly hardware problem. Flashed rgb software and worked again but addressing each RGB part addressed a different part in the mobo instead.

Subject: Issues with x470 taichi
Posted: 09 Nov 2018 at 1:52am

I am having issues with my Ryzen 2700x build.

I first bought an ASUS x470 gaming pro board and I assembled everything into the case and went to fire it up and nothing...no post...lights but no post. So after changing out the GPU and trying both sticks of ram in every slot. I assumed the board was DOA so I returned it and bought a X470 taichi.

This time I tested the board before installing it into the case, I plugged in my GPU and ram and fired it up, I did not have a keyboard plugged in though, and it posted, I was excited and installed everything into the case, plugged the wireless keyboard receiver in and turned it on, it displayed the ASROCK page that had the options for F2 for bios etc but it never went past this screen. I turned the computer off and tried again, the same thing, just forever stuck on the asrock banner. I turned it off and unplugged the receiver and turned the computer back on, it posted, so I plugged the keyboard in and was able to navigate around the bios. I plugged in my SSD and usb loaded with win 10 and restarted the computer. Once again, it was stuck at the asrock page....at this point I figured maybe try and update the bios.

However, every time I had anything plugged into a USB port it wouldn't go past the asrock page. I unplugged everything from the computer except GPU, RAM, and CPU and the computer stopped posting. I tried switching the ram sticks around and trying 1 stick at a time and it wouldn't post. I just kept getting error code 0d over and over.

I tried clearing the cmos, removing the battery, and nothing just keep getting the 0d error.

I tried another GPU as well, still nothing. I ordered a different stick of RAM that will be delivered today so I can rule out ram error.

So I have this figured out.  It turns out that my boot disk was in legacy mode, i.e. MBR.  Secure boot only works with UEFI partitions.  So here is how to fix similar situation:

2. In my case I have set CSM to ON but I have selected StorageRom to UEFI only, Video to Legacy Only, and I have turned off PXE (i.e. do not load).

This setting above, along with converting my boot disk from MBR to GPT fixed all issues.  Next time I have booted into Windows 10 the TPM module came up as Attested, and Device Security tab had everything green and enabled.

In windows explorer, I have right-clicked on C: and enabled Bitlocker, which did not complain at all and allowed me to save keys to my OneDrive account.

All is well!

Did the system post after the BIOS flash? I suspect it didn't and that a compatibility issue with your wireless logitech keyboard caused a bad flash. By the looks of it, your issue was with the keyboard all along, even with the previous board. Older Logitech wireless devices (USB 2.0) are known to have issues with USB 3.0 and newer ports, now that USB 2.0 has been phased out completely that leads to all kinds of issues with these devices on newer boards. Get hold of a wired keyboard for installation and setup and if you need a wireless solution you will need to pick up a different model that supports USB 3.0 properly. As a general rule I always use wired peripherals when building a new system, once it's all up and running and stable I then switch to the wireless ones.

If you did not get the system to post again after the flash you can try following this guide to fully clear CMOS:

http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=630&title=how-to-clear-cmos-via-battery-removal

If after that you still don't get a POST screen then I'm afraid your only option is to RMA the board. On the plus side, when you get your replacement it should work flawlessly without that keyboard in the mix. I hope you just have some corrupted UEFI data that will clear with the guide I linked above.

Good luck and let us know how you get on Wink

Hello! I recently have had the same issue.

My bluetooth stopped working over night last weekend, and I have spent about a week trying to troubleshoot/reading through forums to fix the issue.

Computer stats:

  • ASRock X399 Taichi
  • OS - Microsoft Windows 10 Home (64-bit)
  • For Intel Bluetooth for WIndows 10:

    • Driver Date 1-/8/2018
    • Device ID: USB\VID_8087&PID_0AA7&REV_0001

Here's the error that I get:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE

After running the troubleshooter, I still have:

Check Bluetooth radio status - Not Fixed

Here's what all I have done:

  1. Device Manager -> right click -> uninstall device and delete all software for the device.
  2. Check for Microsoft updates, run the troubleshooter,
  3. Go Directly to Intel website to check the
